Time for the spring newsletter ( I think we might hit summer before we have spring this year however) and the news that we will actually be traveling on most of the tours that were scheduled. Following is a quick run- down for the summer.
June 20-July 1 German Passion Play, Croatia, Iceland $3550
This is a combined tour of formerly scheduled tours. The main purpose will be to see the every 10 year Passion Play that was postponed from 2020 to 2022. While in Europe, we decided to visit a near by popular country, Croatia, and the wonderful Plitvice National Park. From here we will spend a day in Berlin before heading to Iceland for the remaining 5 days of the trip.
July 13-18 Yellowstone $3189
This is a quick small family trip to rejoin the national park scene of USA. We hope the lines are not too long to get into the park this year with the new reservation system that they have put into place.
July 20-26 Alaska Fishing trip $3450
This is a four days of fishing trip that has become quite popular recently. All fishing equipment, licenses, guide service, transportation and most meals are included. It includes a Kenai River salmon day, a lake float fishing day, a fly in experience, and a day on the ocean fishing halibut.
July 27- Aug 9 Alaska Sightseeing trip $3950
This is our usual Alaska sightseeing. It includes a wildlife(whales) cruise, glacier up close, trip into Denali National Park, and two days of fishing. We travel to Fairbanks, Anchorage, Seward, and Homer and all points in between making a complete circle on the paved highways.
Aug 16-24 West Coast and Redwoods $3200
This will be a trip beginning in Seattle, following the coastline of western USA, ending in San Francisco. Sights will include Columbia River Gorge, Oregon Dunes, Crater Lake, and the Redwoods among others.
Sept 2-26 Africa $6750
We will be visiting 6 countries on this animal focused trip including South Africa, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, eSwatini (formerly Swaziland), and Botswana. We will be taking part in 9 game drives and other viewing opportunities to be able to see the wide variety of animals that Africa has to offer.
All of these trips are filled or nearly filled and will be a go unless the unthinkable occurs again. If interested in any of the above, space is very limited and may be filled any day.
Trips that are not all filled, but are filling quickly are the trips scheduled for next year.
Jan 6-29, 2023 Antarctica $5200 (subj to change) This trip does have potential for additions at this time, but will be closed soon due to regulations for the cruiselines. The trip will begin in Santiago, Chile, cruise through Patagonia, cruise around the Cape, through the Strait of Magellan and Drakes Passageway, four days of cruising Antarctica, with a stop at the Falkland islands on our way to Buenos Aires for our departure.
Feb 26-Mar 6, 2023 Costa Rica $2950
This is a trip that was postponed from this year. There are openings at the present time with several on the list from the previously scheduled trip. Take a break from winter and head to a tropical rain forest. We will visit a coffee and pineapple farm, walk on hanging bridges, and see numerous birds including the most populous parrots, macaws, toucans, hummingbirds, and others. This is an all inclusive trip with flight from MSP, transportation, lodging, and ALL meals included.
May 23-June 6, 2023 Ireland and Scotland $3250
This trip will begin in Dublin. We will use the rail to see most of Republic of Ireland before we continue on to Northern Ireland. We will use Belfast as our base and travel out from there each day. We then will fly to Edinburgh to explore that area including Edinburgh Castle, St Andrews, home of the world famous golf course, and visits to the local fishing villages in the area.

This is our usual sightseeing trip which includes 2 days of fishing at the end of the trip. This is our typical 12 days in Alaska journey. It includes a wildlife(whales) cruise, glacier up close, trip into Denali National Park, and two days of fishing. We travel to Fairbanks, Anchorage, Seward, and Homer and all points in between making a complete circle on the paved highways.
July 13-22, 2023 Mystery Trip $2995
This is a domestic trip to an undisclosed location. If you commit to this trip, we will let you know what to pack, but not where we are going. That will be discovered on the departure date. It may or may not involve a domestic flight. We know you will be happy with the route and enjoy this mystery trip. It will be all inclusive, including all meals.
July 25-Aug 5 Alaska Sightseeing $3950
This is our typical 12 days in Alaska journey. It includes a wildlife(whales) cruise, glacier up close, trip into Denali National Park, and two days of fishing. We travel to Fairbanks, Anchorage, Seward, and Homer and all points in between making a complete circle on the paved highways. Unfortunately, this trip is already filled with people who missed out on the 2022 trip due to its popularity. If there is enough interest, we may add another trip at the end of June as is listed above.
Aug 6-Aug 12. 2023 Alaska Fishing $3450
This is a four days of fishing trip that has become quite popular recently. All fishing equipment, licenses, guide service, transportation and most meals are included. It includes a Kenai River salmon day, a lake float fishing day, a fly in experience, and a day on the ocean fishing halibut. There are only 4 spots left for this trip.
Aug 17-31, 2023 Scandinavia $4250
This will cover primarily Norway and Denmark, with shorter visits to Sweden and Finland. We will cover the beautiful scenery from Bergen to Oslo, the forests of Finland, the glass factories of Sweden, and lots of stops in between. We will travel by boat, rail, and other modes of transportation. You will be able to experience the differences and the similarities of these countries.
Sept 7-23, 2023 Alpine- Switzerland, Austria, Germany $3950
This is the last of our postponed from last two years trips. We will enjoy the scenery of the Alps and the culture of this area of the world. This portion will include stops in Salzburg, Lucerne, Innsbruck, the Jungfrau, among others. We will continue on to view some great architecture and important historical sights, primarily in Germany. The main stops will be Munich, Dresden, Nuremburg, Potsdam, and ending in Berlin. There should be something for everyone on this one. We will be traveling by train most of the time.
Oct 3-17, 2023 Italy $3750
This is another trip that was postponed from this year. We will spend most of our time in the Tuscany area, but will not omit the famous sights in Florence, Venice, Rome, and Sorrento. We will spend several nights in the Cinque de Terra area for your hiking or wine tasting pleasure. Lastly, we will spend time exploring the ruins of Pompeii.
