Our tour to Peru is a more complete tour than you will find elsewhere. We not only visit Machu Picchu, but we also visit many other ruins, several Indian Markets, Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world, spend a day traveling through the Andes Mountains to visit small villages, and spend three days in the rainforest jungle.

Our friendship with a native Peruvian will enhance our tour and will assist us in learning about the Peruvian culture.

We will start our tour in Lima to explore the large city. From here we travel to Arequipa for a tour of the sights. We will continue on with a two day excursion in the Colca Canyon, the deepest canyon in the world. One of the highlights of this portion of the tour is the flight of the condors.

The next portion of the tour is the Puno area where we will visit the floating islands of Uros and Taquile. We will return to “civilization” by bus to view the scenic high Andes dotted with llamas and vicunas.

Ancient Peru was the heart of several prominent Andean civilizations. The most famous of these were the Incas, who were captured by the Spanish conquistadors in 1533. In the next days we will view many of these ruins up close and also explore the Sacred Valley. After stops at the markets we will return to our hotel. Another highlight of our tour, of course, is the day at Machu Picchu itself. After a full day of exploration we will return to Cusco and prepare for our jungle stay.

Our jungle stay will include monkeys, macaws, toucans, and tapirs. Be prepared to see jungle wildlife as you have never seen before.

This will complete our diverse tour of Peru. We hope you enjoy having all the components of this country in one complete tour package.
