Although Cuba offers a rich culture, historic significance, and experiences you will not find in other locations, there are unique challenges in this country.
We will explore principally 3 areas and cities, including Camaguey, Trinidad, and Havana.
In Camaguey we will visit studios of talented artists (ceramics, sculptures, and paintings), the Carmen Church, a local farm, and attend a musical performance of the Symphonic Orchestra.
Trinidad is Cuba’s best preserved colonial city. We will explore the city visiting art galleries, the Old Cathedral, and the rationing store.
In Cienfuegos we will do a tour of the city’s highlights and attend a choral performance enroute to Playa Larga at the head of the Bay of Pigs. This will be followed by a stop at the Zapata National Park on the southern coast and then on the Havana.
In Havana we will visit a community project, meet a former professional baseball player in Cuba, attend a cooking class, and of course, go to a cigar rolling experience. Our finale will be riding in one of the 1950’s car to our restaurant for our evening meal.
